Q: What's the shelf life of an unopened bottle?
A: Your syrup is shelf stable and unopened bottles will last at least a year.

Q: Does the syrup need to be refrigerated once opened.
A: Yes. The syrup is perishable once opened and needs to be kept in a refrigerator.

Q: How long will the syrup last in the fridge once opened?
A: The syrup is best used within 4 months. It will last longer (up to a year refrigerated) but the flavor will trail off as there are no artificial preservatives or stabilizers in the syrup.

Q: How long will it take to get my syrup once ordered?
A: Orgeat Works typically ship via USPS Priority. Buyers will be notified as to status, (label creation, pick up and delivery). Please know that your syrup is hand made by this human. I don't use a factory to produce huge batches of syrup on spec and then warehouse the inventory.
Your syrup will be fresh and sometimes an item will be sold out. I do my best to keep up. I'll inform you of a delay in processing your order. If the timeline doesn't work for you, I'll happily refund your money, no questions asked.

Q: Can I get the nice glass bottles depicted in some of the website photos?
A: I'll be working on an "upgrade" option for the product line. Experience has taught me shipping glass, no matter how carefully packed, yields disappointed customers and a sticky mess for the Postal Service! That said, I'll work on configuring special packaging.
